Not sure where to begin when it comes time to start a website? We have put together a list of important steps to make getting started just a little less of a mystery :)

A domain (www.yourwebsitename.com). If you need to register a domain please visit www.diydomainshoppe.com. The cost is around $10.00 per year. If you would like us to register a domain for you this can be arranged.

 

If you have already registered your domain name with another registrar you will receive information about pointing it to your hosting account with us shortly after purchasing a website or hosting package.

 

Next you will need hosting. Hosting is where your website files; like images, pages, programs etc. are stored or live. Similar to renting an apartment or storage space :) We offer several hosting plans to meet your needs.

 

Graphics, template/layout or logo. If you choose one of our design packages these items will be included. If you already have a logo or graphics we will ask that you email or mail them to us to use in building your website or creating other media you have requested.

 

Choose a website package that is best for you. If you need a store then you will choose one of our ecommerce packages. If you do not plan to sell anything then an informational package will be fine. If you decide at some point to sell a product or service contact us and we can upgrade your website to an ecommerce package. After you have a package comes the point when we begin to collect information from you to start putting your actual pages and elements together that make up a website..and you are on your way!
